Graphite material has a lower density than copper, and graphite electrodes of the same volume weigh only 1/5 of copper electrodes. It can be seen that the electrode with a large volume is very suitable to use graphite material, which greatly reduces the load of the spindle of the EDM machine tool. The electrode will not cause problems such as inconvenient clamping due to the heavy weight and eccentric displacement during processing. The use of graphite electrodes makes sense.
